The Cougars held off a late push by the Eagles with senior midfielder Ryan Kelly scoring the tying goal to send the game into overtime. The game was back and forth with both teams leading during the contest. Wayne scored the opening goal during man-up with Andrew Jenkins assisting Tim Oddi. Six minutes later HF-L scored their opening goal (also during man-up). Ryan Kelly scored with an assist from Tim Breau. Each team added another goal in the opening quarter and the first quarter ended with the score tied at 2-2. |
