The Eagles took their record to 13-0 with their win today over Newark. Junior offensiveman Jon Ecker, who lead the team in goals (with 50g-18a) was the leader in this game with 4g-2a.

Five games were played on Monday. Avon beat Batavia 8-4 and Wayne beat the Thunder 12-7. Other winners were Pal-Mac over Geneva. Brockport over Newark and Canandaigua over McQuaid Jesuit.

Among the seventeen games played today were two in Webster and they both had exciting finishes. Schroeder hosted Fairport in a game that started with a 1-1 half and ended with the Raiders winning 4-3.

One of the first beautiful spring days saw thirteen games played in the sunlight. Pal-Mac overcame a three goal deficit to defeat Geneva in overtime.

Brighton`s Brady McDermott scored with 0:59 remaining in regulation to secure a 14-13 win over Webster Thomas. Aquinas used two overtime periods to secure their win from Canisius as all but one team in the section played games today.

In the only game on Friday, The Screaming Eagles defeated Newark with the McDowell brothers scoring a combined three goals.

The Class B semi finals were close, as both Victor and Thomas struggled, at times, but won their shot to play each other in the Championships.

Pittsford had a close game with Penfield and yet preserved their perfect season with a 10-7 win over the visiting Patriots.

There were fifteen games played in beautiful weather. Thomas senior midfielder Cam Isaac scored with six seconds left in the second overtime period to give Thomas an 11-10 win.

Face off specialist Dylan Harmon won 16/22 for Newark.

NOTES:  Newark scored the first goal and although Brockport kept the game close they never tied. The Reds won 9-8 with Conor Tickner coming up big with two saves at 0:12 and 0:04 remaining in regulation. Tickner finished the contest with 10 saves (56%). 

The All Star list is out recognizing the Finger Lakes players for the 2015 season. Junior defenseman, Dylan Joy from Gananda was selected as Finger Lakes "Player of the Year". The "Attackman of the Year" was Joe Fisher from Gananda. The "Midfielders of the Year" were Ethan Bakogiannis from Geneva and Chris Goodman from Midlakes. 

Newark Head Coach Matt Groot recently announced that senior face-off midfielder Dylan Harmon has accepted an athletic scholarship and will play for the Belmont Abbey Crusaders after graduation next spring.
