# 3237 Monte Leads for Fairport in 8-7 Win Fairport held off the late advances of Pittsford in their 9-7 win over the Panthers. Fairport, who led for much of the game, lost the lead for the first time with 4:28 remaining on the clock. The Red Raiders had to keep up the pressure with two goals in the final 32 seconds of the contest. Freshman midfielder Mitchell Monte finished the game with five of the teams eight goals (including both in the final seconds of the game). |
