Tuesday: Irondequoit takes Corning, Gananda over Waterloo
Twelve of the sixteen games played on Tuesday were mismatches in which the winning teams outscored their opponents by 184-49. Irondequoit beat visiting Corning 13-8. Gananda beat Waterloo 8-7 and Hilton was a 10-7 winner over Greece Lightning.

There were 12 games played on Saturday and the vast majority were mismatches. Gananda and Waterloo, however, played a close one which saw the Blue Panthers winning 9-8.

Tuesday: Canandaigua Moves to 4-0 with win over Geneva
There were only five games played today. Canandaigua broke open a tie with Geneva to win their game at Evans Field, 8-5. Webster Thomas had an exciting 9-8 win over visiting Churchville-Chili.

Thursday: Fairport Remains Undefeated at 16-0
Fairport took a 7-1 lead on their way to a 8-5 win over visiting Irondequoit to preserve their perfect regular season (16-0). Victor defeated Pittsford 13-12, Penfield beat Orchard Park 13-8, Newark beat B-H, Arc/Oly took out Eastridge 9-6 and Aquinas beat Canisius 4-3.

Thursday: Pittsford over McQuaid 7-6
There were 16 games in the Section today. Several were close and a number were not. Pittsford beat a determined McQuaid Jesuit 7-6. Waterloo beat Wayne 3-1.

Wednesday: McQuaid, ER and Lightning Win
On a normally "off-day" three games were played in Section Five. East Rochester had the closest game, as the tied Akron at the half 5-5 and when on to at 10-8 win. Both McQuaid and Greece Arc/Oly (Lightning) had big, lopsided wins.

After the regular season, there are several championship opportunities for teams that qualify. First up are the Section Five Tournaments for three classes (A-B-C).

The Last Game - Senior Night 2006
The annual "last game of the year" for graduating seniors was played at Irondequoit on June 13th. Under a new format the seniors were divided into two games this year to allow for more seniors to play.

Quarter Final Rounds
The seeding worked out well in the quarter final round of the Section Five tournaments as all the top seeds advanced except #4 Thomas who lost to #5 Canandaigua in double overtime.

Tuesday: Penfield and Rush Win
Penfield played a close game with Schroeder and was the 11-9 winner. Rush Henrietta also won an 11-9 victory, there game against host Irondequoit.

Saturday: Schroeder over Irondequoit
Most games played today were not close ones, but the Schroeder vs Irondequoit was anyone's game until the end, Midlakes beat Mynderse by one goal and Churchville was the Chili winner on Saturday.

Thursday: Penfield and Penn Yan Win
There were a number of big games played under wet conditions on Thursday. Penfield avenged an earlier loss to Fairport in a Monroe County game and Penn Yan used two over time periods to beat Canandaigua in Finger Lakes play. Schroeder was a one goal winner against Rush Henrietta and HFL won a big Class B win against Brighton.

Thursday: Eastridge wins in the Fourth
Eastridge scored three goals in the fourth to win a 9-7 victory over Spencerport, while the rest of the games posted scores that were not as close.

Tuesday: Crossover Day
For the most part it was cross-over day in Section Five. McQuaid Jesuit lost to St. Francis of Buffalo and Rush-Henrietta beat visiting Livonia. The rest of the games were league games with non-divisional teams.

Thursday: Storms
A number of games were impacted by thunder storms in the afternoon and evening. Section Five and NYS rules require that players and spectators be removed from the field when lighting is seen or thunder heard. There must be a period of 30 minutes without thunder or lightning before play may be resumed.

Tuesday: Fairport!
Can you spell D-a-n-y-l-y-s-h-y-n ? Fairport junior attackman Mike Danylyshyn scored the first five goals for Fairport and added one more to lead the Red Raiders to a 9-6 win at Penfield in this premiere Monroe County match up.

Monday: Last Day (Almost)
Pittsford beat R-H today and will host Thomas on Tuesday, but the rest of the teams in Section Five are now finished with the regular season. Penfield dodged the bullet again today with a one goal win at Fairport and completed their regular season undefeated. Canandaigua finished with a win taking them to 16-1 with their only loss to Baldwinsville. Brighton finished with a win over Gates Chili and lost only to HF-L (twice) to end their season at 14-2. HF-L finished with a win over Hilton and lost only to Schroeder this season.
