Monday: HF-L over Lightning 10-8
As we enter the last two weeks of the regular season, there were four games played today. HF-L went up by a goal in the first quarter and then played evenly with the Greece Lightning until the last quarter where they added another.

Thursday: Thomas Takes Fairport in double OT
There were fifteen games played in beautiful weather. Thomas senior midfielder Cam Isaac scored with six seconds left in the second overtime period to give Thomas an 11-10 win.

Saturday: Fairport over Churchville 8-5
It took overtime, but Pittsford beat Victor in a closely contested game 12-11. Marcus Whitman beat Mynderse by one, 6-5. Canandaigua beat R-H 16-11 and Midlakes beat B-H, 10-6.

Tuesday: Victor Takes Irondequoit, Fairport Defeats Penfield
Finally, there were a number of close games played in the section today. Victor held off a last minute attack by Irondequoit to hold on to a 7-6 win. Hilton beat the Lightning 8-6, McQuaid came back hard to beat Livonia 14-13 in overtime.

A dozen games were played today. Three games were won by one goal, but most games were mismatches again today. In a "Storm game", Greece Ath/Ody (Thunder)beat Greece Arc/Oly (Lightning) 7-6.

There were 12 games played on Saturday and the vast majority were mismatches. Gananda and Waterloo, however, played a close one which saw the Blue Panthers winning 9-8.

Thursday: Schroeder over Churchville 11-5
There were only four games played today. Webster Schroeder used seven goals in the second half to beat Churchville-Chili 11-5. Even scoring gave Aquinas a 15-11 win over visiting HF-L. Webster Thomas beat the Greece Lightning 15-5 and Brighton beat Brockport 15-2.

There were only five games played today. Canandaigua broke open a tie with Geneva to win their game at Evans Field, 8-5. Webster Thomas had an exciting 9-8 win over visiting Churchville-Chili.

The quarter final round finished with nine higher seeded teams winning, most by large numbers and three lower seeded teams winning. Canandaigua (#6) beat Spencerport (#3) 10-8. Victor (#5) beat McQuaid Jesuit (#4) 21-9.

In a game that went right to last minute, Irondequoit defeated Pittsford 7-6. Fairport won a 5-2 victory over visiting Penn Yan. Thomas beat Brighton 8-6 and HF-L took at 9-8 win from Webster Schroeder. Penfield won their game with Canandaigua 10-6.

Eleven games were played on Tuesday Spencerport and Hilt played to a tie nine times before Ben Tribunella scored on an assist by Seth Miller to give the Rangers a 12-11 victory.

Canandaigua Moves Past Saints
Canandaigua has reached the Sectional Championship game 13 times and Churchville-Chili has only reached it once and the Braves demonstrated tonight that they know how to win in Sectionals. The Braves defeated the Saints 14-12 after trailing 0-4 in the first quarter.

Churchville-Chili Big Finish for Win
Coming back today to finish last night`s game, after it was called due to weather, benefited Churchville-Chili as they outscored Hilton 3-2 to win the game 10-9. The Saints` Ryan Cosgrove scored the first goal today and assisted the second and third to secure the win for the Saints.

Irondequoit Over Churchville-Chili
NOTES: Irondequoit continued their winning streak over Churchville-Chili with their eighth straight win over the Saints 11-8. The Saints have never defeated the Eagles but this three goal defeat was the closest they have come since 2009 when they only lost by a single goal 6-5.

Monroe County Releases D-3 Awards for 2015
The All Star list is out recognizing the Monroe County League players for the 2015 season. Senior midfielder Kevin Hill (Thomas), attackman, Connor Hulme (Canandaigua) and Long Stick Defenseman Allen Thibodeau (Fairport) were named US Lacrosse Academic All Americans. Senior midfielder Brandon Barker (Pittsford) along with senior attackman Max Spaan (Penfield) and senior goalie Willie Klan (Penfield) selected as US Lacrosse All Americans. Juniors Jared Conners(Pittsford-LSM), T.D. Ierlan (Victor mid/fo) and Jamie Trimboli (Victor - mid) were also named as US Lacrosse All Americans.
