There are eleven teams in Class D this year and all teams can play in the tournament this year which will start with out-bracket games on May 23rd this year. As of March 25th, the coaches poll predicts that Penn Yan and Livonia-Avon will play in the championship game. The first complete poll will be posted on April 3rd.

There can be no doubt that there will be lots of good lacrosse in Section Five, but, at least before the games begin, Canandaigua and Penfield look destined to be back in the Class A finals in May and in whatever form the B/C Tournament takes, Penn Yan will be the team to beat.

# 1569  Section 5 Senior All Star Game- 2004

The Expectional Senior "All Star" game, previously scheduled for East Rochester will be held on Tuesday, June 8th, 2004 starting with the Girls Game at 5:00pm followed by the Boys Game at 7:00pm at McQuaid Jesuit Jesuit High School. Coaches from all three leagues have selected the following seniors representing each of the Section Five teams. Teams will be formed at the site. # 1567  Monroe County League List for 2004 Announced

The County coaches recently announced the list of all stars for 2004. Penfield defenseman, Dan Clay and Pittsford midfielder, R.J. Lamontagne were named to the All America team. Rush-Henrietta senior midfielder, Joe Malach was name Academic All American.

The Monroe County coaches recently announced the list of all stars for 2002. Irondequoit and Fairport tied for the County title this year and combined for 12 first team players. Joe Walters (Attack-Irondequoit) was selected the All American and Chris Renzi (Midfielder-Fairport) was the alternate.

# 1503  Monroe County All League List - 2003

The Monroe County coaches recently announced the list of all stars for 2003. Irondequoit, who won the County title this year, took top honors with seven players including All American midfielder, Mark Johnson. Penfield and Webster Schroeder each received five first team players. Schroeder's attackman. BJ Linder was also named to the All America Team.
