Stockmann, Vollmer Lead Schroeder

SCHROEDER-5 at GENEVA-4  -  Schroeder beat Geneva 5-4 Saturday morning in a non-league game, moving to 3-12. It was the third time Schroeder has beaten Geneva in the series and the Warriors' second win in a row. Junior Connor Scott and junior Rory Champlin each recorded their first career varsity assist in the win. Geneva falls to 10-4.

JD Stockmann and Aiden Vollmer each led Schroeder with two goals and an assist, while Kai Nelson added one goal. Matt Schilling, Scott and Champlin each contributed an assist. In goal, senior Ben Cashman made five saves on seven shots (71%) over 24 minutes and junior Van Bolton added six saves on eight shots (75%) over 24 minutes.

For Geneva, Jacob D'Amico scored two goals, and Ben Budgar and Dominic Gaglianese each added one. Ryland Dunham and Jack Dunham each contributed an assist.

Geneva hosts Gananda on Tuesday evening. Schroeder hosts Churchville-Chili on Wednesday.
