The Eagles scored three times in the fourth quarter after trailing 7-5 going into the final period to take the win. Senior Wyatt Murray scored his first career varsity goal in the victory. Junior Shane Coleman led Wayne with three goals and two assists, while senior Tucker Eaton added two goals. Murray, Emmett Haak and Cody Crandell each added a goal, and Paxton Landon and Brady Flynn chipped in an assist each. In goal, freshman Gavin Hamel made 14 saves on 21 shots (67%) over 48 minutes.

Wayne hosts Gananda on Thursday evening. Geneva travels to Livonia-Avon-Geneseo on Thursday evening.
