Lewis's Five Goals Keep Pittsford Unbeaten
RUSH-HENRIETTA-10 at PITTSFORD-19 - Pittsford stayed unbeaten with a 19-10 non-league win over Rush-Henrietta on Tuesday evening at Sutherland, scoring five goals in the first quarter and seven more in the second to build a commanding halftime lead. The win extends Pittsford's winning streak against Rush-Henrietta to 24 straight in a series that now stands at 30-4.
For Pittsford (8-0), junior Grant Lewis led with five goals and three assists, while junior Cole Goetz added three goals and three assists and freshman Griffin Goetz contributed two goals and two assists. Junior Luke Jutzin and junior Trevor Nally each added two goals, and junior Max Morgenstern chipped in two goals and two assists. Junior Jack Giordano scored his first varsity goal and picked up his first varsity assist, and senior Dylan Naetzker also scored his first varsity goal. Griffin Goetz also recorded his first varsity assist. Freshman Keegan Jacob went 14-for-17 at the faceoff dot (82%) and junior Colin Nudds added seven wins in 11 attempts (64%).
