HFL took an early lead and maintained control throughout, defeating Churchville-Chili 15-8 in an MC-D3 league matchup at Fairbanks Elementary on Monday evening. Grady Goodberlet was the leading scorer for HFL, tallying six goals and one assist, while Marco Vengoechea added three goals and three assists. Jason Bennett stood out in goal, saving 11 of 12 shots for an impressive 92% save rate during his 24 minutes of play.

Churchville-Chili fought back in the second half, scoring seven of their eight total goals across the final three quarters. Matthew Mitchell led the effort for Churchville-Chili with four goals and one assist, with Jaxon Leonard contributing two goals and Isaac Bailey providing a goal and two assists. Sophomore goalie Kaiden Leiston recorded 17 saves and a 55% save percentage across 36 minutes.
