Robert Sollenne recently announced his intent to continue his education and play lacrosse at SUNY Potsdam after graduation next month from Geneva High School. The long stick defensive is a two year varsity player for the Panthers and played in summer league tournaments like the Lake Erie Showcase and the 1812 Shootout.
He expects to continue to play for the Bears who play NCAA Division III lacrosse as part of the SUNYAC league. Head Coach Rick Berkman leads the program that includes a number of Section Five graduates including Alex Pavone (C-C), Pat Morrill (Thomas), Pat Bonafede (C-C), Peter Gropp (Fairport), Nick Waseleski (Victor, Brandon Kemp (Canandaigua) and Jackson Corcoran (C-C).
