Harvest Lacrosse Club Commitments

Four rising seniors ( Evan Alfano, Lukas Stanat, Joey Urlacher and Ben Wildman), playing with the Harvest Lacrosse Club, have announced their college plans.

Webster Schroeder goalie, Evan Alfano will play at SUNY Cortland after his senior year. A second team Monroe County (d2) pick last season, Evan posted 155 saves in his 829 minutes in the cage. In a 8-7 win against Penfield, Even recorded an assist and at Spencerport he made 12 saves (63%). He recorded 26 ground balls and 2 takes in his junior year.

Bound for Princeton in a year, Lukas Stanat has been an important part of the Brighton program since his freshman year. He will start his senior year with the Barons with 124g-39a and 65gbs. After leading the team and the section in scoring with seventy goals and twenty-eight assists last year, Lukas was named to the first team All Section Five list and to the first team Monroe County (d-3) All League list. His performance in the Class B tournament earned him a spot on the All-Tournament team and the NYSSWA named him to their All-State Honorable Mention list.

Canandaigua senior defenseman, Joey Urlacher has announced that he will continue his education while playing lacrosse at St. John Fisher College. After three years in the Varsity, he will start his last year with the Braves with fifty-seven ground balls and twenty-eight takes. He scored two goals and two assists last year which helped him to be named to the first team Monroe County All-League list (d2) as a long-stick midfielder. His performance in the Class B tournament earned him a spot on the Section Five All-Tournament team. 

Another Harvest defenseman, Ben Wildman, announced his decision to study and play lacrosse at Babson College after his final year at Penfield. Last year Ben recorded five ground balls and a take. Babson College plays in the NEWMAC League and is an NCAA Division III team playing under Head Coach Rocky Batty.
