The first State poll is out today and ten Section Five team made the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association. Webster Schroeder makes the number 12 spot in Class A with Canandaigua (#19) and Irondequoit (#20) following. Rush-Henrietta, Churchville-Chili and Webster Thomas made the honorable mention list.
  
In Class B, Geneva placed 11th and McQuaid Jesuit made an honorable mention and in Class C, Penn Yan is in the 5th spot and livonia is in 15th.
  
The top spots in week one went to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Huntington (Section 11) in Class B and Cold Springs Harbor (Section 8) in Class C.
