Schroeder beat HF-L 11-9 and Brighton had an exciting one goal win against Thomas. |
# 2382 Tuesday: Two Overtime Games and One Last Second Win There were sixteen games played in the Section today and a number of very exciting ones including a 7-6 win for Fairport over Penfield with no time left on the clock. Haverling took Aquinas in double overtime and Marcus Whitman beat Mynderse in the first overtime period. |
# 2354 Tuesday: Eleven Cancellations - One Game Eleven games were cancelled throughout the afternoon, some at noon and some at the field. Penn Yan got a whole 1:05 into their game with Baldwinsville, and was in the lead (1-0) before they had to given in to the weather. There must have been a sunny patch in Chili as Churchville-Chili beat Gates Chili 16-4. |
# 2225 Tuesday: One and Done - The Tournament Begins There were ten out bracket games played in the Section today and only one team that beat a higher seeded team. In the Class A bracket, Hilton (#9) beat Gates Chili (#8) and will play Fairport. Churchville-Chili be the Lightning and moves on to Pittsford. |
