Rochester Chapter Announces Hall of Fame 2015

The Greater Rochester Chapter of the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame will welcome four five members with the induction of Joseph Corcoran, Terry Corcoran, George Forsyth, Joan Sitterly, and Andrew Whipple as the Class of 2015. The 22nd Annual US Lacrosse, Greater Rochester Chapter, Hall of Fame Dinner will take place on Friday, November 6th at the Burgundy Basin Inn at 1361 Marsh Road in Pittsford. Full Story

He came on strong at the end of the season totaling ten goals and eleven assists, with four points in the sectional final. Last season he was named to the Section Five All Tournament Team. US Lacrosse Coaching Education - Both Level 1 and 2

  The Greater Rochester Chapter of US Lacrosse will be offering the Level TWO Clinic on January 10, 2016 at Sutherland High School. The clinic, which is part of the program leading to certification, will be available for both the men`s and the women`s game. The local chapter will subsidize half of the cost. Local coaches will pay $47.50 for Level 2 and $37.50 for Level 1. Full Story

2015 Season Wrap Up

Section V lacrosse lost a team during the season (Avon) to low numbers and injuries so the Section ended the season with thirty-five team. The session ended with just under 1, 500 Varsity boys playing. The good news is that Avon hopes to be back for the 216 season. Full Story
