Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: Senior faceoff specialist Logan Callahan gave Victor a big advantage in ball time as he won 14/18 draws to help the Blue Devils beat Fairport 10-6 this afternoon. Callahan, who in three games this season has won 58/66 (88%) faceoffs also scored 2g-1a. The game started even, with three ties before Victor took a lead at 4-3 and did not let go. Senior M/A Cal Lambert led the scoring for the Blue Devils with 3g-2a. Senior midfielder Alex Seiler added 2g-1 and five other players scored one goal. Fairport sophomore A/M Jackson Monte led in scoring for the Red Raiders with 2g-1a. Fairport (2-2) will play Penfield on Friday while Victor (3-0) is playing Irondequoit. Mynderse Gets Win from Midlakes-Red Jacket |

Tuesday: DAY IN REVIEW: Mynderse scored first and shutout Midlakes-Red Jacket for the first half, on their way to a 5-3 win on the road. It was the first win for the Blue Devils this season and avenged their earlier 6-2 loss when they played the Eagles on May first. Junior midfielder Mitchell Dekanski led the scoring with 3g and freshman midfielder Dylan Tandle added 1g-1a. Senior goalkeeper Gino Poretta had 15s/3gs (83%) for the winners who will play Waterloo on Thursday. There was no report from Midlakes-Red Jacket at post time. [BOX SCORE] Full Story |
Penfield Wins in Overtime |

Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: It took overtime for Penfield to defeat The Panthers 12-11 tonight on the road. With Pittsford up 11-7 at the top of the fourth quarter but starting with 5:08 left in the game, Penfield scored four unanswered goals to tie the game at 11-11 with 2:11 left. With 2:04 left in overtime, senior attackman Sam Cummings scored the game-winner with an assist from Jake Fox. Cummings ended the game with 4g and senior midfielder Chris Smith added 3g-2a. John Richiusa gave the Patriots lots of ball time as he won 23/27 faceoffs. Pittsford senior attackman Harrison Cross led scoring with 2g-2a and junior James Cook added 3g for the Panthers (2-2) who will play R-H on Wednesday. Saturday: DAY IN REVIEW: Webster Thomas scored the first goal of the game and although Fairport quickly tied it, the Titans went ahead early in the second quarter and never gave up the lead in their 7-5 win at Fairport this afternoon. The spectators saw a very defensive game with Titan senior goalie Ethan Ruller making All-American saves and Fairport junior goalie McLean Ralston making 12s (63%). Full Story |
Herod Scores Game Winner With 8 Seconds On Clock |

In a rainy-muddy game played on Thursday afternoon, Marcus Whitman’s Ryan Herod scored the game winning goal with 0:08 left on the clock to give the Wildcats an 8-7 win over Wayne. This was only the second time in history that the Wildcats had defeated the Eagles (the last time was 2012). Herod was demonstrative in the game and finished with 2g-3a. For Wayne, Nate Michel was equally as impressive with 3g-2a. The Wildcats increased to 4-0 on the season with Wayne recording their first loss (2-1). Both see action again tomorrow with Wayne facing Mynderse and Marcus Whitman facing Gananda. Full Story |

Aquinas scored the first four goals of the game and held off a late push by Haverling to defeat the Rams 11-9. The eleventh goal was scored as time expired, and Haverling was in the game until the final seconds. There was standout play by Joey Sciortino (3g) and Zach Kelsey (2g-4a) for the Little Irish and Brady Dickson (3g-1a) and Jamie O`Neil (1g-3a) for the Rams. Full Story |

Fairport scores last three in win over Pittsford |

Fairport had a strong showing in three of the four quarters in their 10-7 win over Pittsford. The Panthers kept the game close and led at two different points before Fairport scored the final three goals of the game to secure the win. Attackman Jackson Monte had a strong game for the Red Raiders with 2g-2a as well as opening up a few other goals for the Fairport offense. Full Story |

Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW:In one of the few non-mismatched games this year, Fairport travelled to Pittsford in what the preseason coaches' poll said will be the Class A finals and as they predicted, Fairport won this one, but despite the 10-7 game it really could have gone either way.
