DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Baldwinsville (Section III) posted a surprising shutout when they traveled to Canandaigua this afternoon. Meanwhile, Greece Storm junior midfielder Matthew Ranalletta (4g-2a) scored the game winner in overtime as the Storm beat Wayne. Full Story

Schroeder 2022

Class B - Monroe County League

Schroeder had a very young team last year and paid their dues, so they expect that this year there will be a payoff as they return their two offensive leaders who, among others, are strong and ready to play. Full Story

Waterloo 2022

Class D - Finger Lakes League

Last year was tough for Waterloo with only one senior on the offensive book. The young team from last year is now a year older and more experienced and is looking for more wins. Full Story

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were fourteen games played and only one was close and Brighton fought back and almost caught Penfield who won 7-6. Full Story

Rush-Henrietta 2022

Class a - Monroe County League

The Royal Comets have been trying to turn the corner under fifth year Head Coach Tom MacMillan and they turn that corner this year. In the current season they have won their first three games, outscoring their opponents 54-16. Full Story

Pittsford 2022

Class A - Monroe County League

Last year there were certainly tough moments for the Panthers as they posted a 9-7 record, losing to the top teams in the section, including the overtime loss to Fairport in the Class A finals. This, however, is another new year, filled with new promise. Full Story

Gananda 2022

Class D - Finger Lakes League

Gananda should be looking forward to this season with most of their offensive players returning with a whole lot more experience. Midfielder Brock Chasey (26g-25a) was the leader in assists and points last year and attackman Drew Smith (41g-5a) was the leader in goals. Full Story

After only playing in five games last season, Webster Thomas goalie Owen Dalberth started his second game of the season tonight for the Titans.  The senior goalie was instrumental in the 13-12 win over Penfield this evening.  In the fourth quarter alone, Dalberth recorded six of his game total ten saves. Fairport held off the late advances of Pittsford in their 9-7 win over the Panthers.  Fairport, who led for much of the game, lost the lead for the first time with 4:28 remaining on the clock.  The Red Raiders had to keep up the pressure with two goals in the final 32 seconds of the contest.  Freshman midfielder Mitchell Monte finished the game with five of the teams eight goals (including both in the final seconds of the game). Pal-Mac 2022

Class C - Finger Lakes League

Pal-Mac was 13-9 last year, loosing to Penn Yan in the Class D Championship game but this year they are in Class C and they have an abundance of talent from a very good team last year. All of their stat leaders from 2021 are back and offensively they only lost 25 of 374 points to graduation. Full Story

Spencerport 2022

Class B - Monroe County League

Spencerport won their first eleven games last year, with Penfield breaking their streak and later, ending their season in the quarter finals. Their only other loss in 2021 was a one-goal game with Hilton. The Rangers had much to celebrate and hopes that that momentum will help this year. Full Story

Mynderse 2022

Class D - Finger Lakes League

Head Coach Joe Caraher is not only a proud alumnus but also was the Blue Devils` coach for fourteen years before agreeing to return to the sidelines for the 2022 campaign. Full Story

There were twenty-five games played since the start of games on March 24th with the HF-L win at Haverling being the closest at 10-9. At the moment there are fifty-two out of section games scheduled and ten have been played. Section Five have won seven (70%). Full Story

McQuaid Jesuit 2022

Class A - Independent

Of the six offensive players that scored at least ten goals last season, three of them were seniors and the produced 94 of 194 points. Gone are offensive leader Max Ettinghausen (28g-17a- Tufts) who with goalie Connor Winters (130s - 62%) were named Academic All-Americans. Also gone are midfielder Mike Hazard (23g-8a) and Cam Hocker (15g-3a). The Knights were 7-6 after a disappointing 11-10 overtime loss to Pittsford in the semifinals.  Full Story

Thursday: DAY IN REVIEW: After a 1-1 first quarter, Waterloo scored three unanswered goals against Midlakes-Red Jacket to take a 4-1 lead into the halftime break. The Screaming Eagles came back in the third with three unanswered goals to tie the game 4-4. After many trips up and down the field, Waterloo scored two goals to finish with a 6-4 win in their season opener. Full Story

Penfield 2022

Class B - Monroe County League

Penfield feels like a Class A team, but they are actually a Class B team, and last year, at 12-4, the only games that they lost were to Victor, Thomas and Canandaigua, which finished right above them in the Class B Tournament. They had memorable games, beating West Genesee, Fairport and Pittsford. Full Story
