In the closest game of the night, Aquinas defeated McQuaid Jesuit in overtime 8-7. Senior midfielder Nick Tschetter (3g-1a) scored the game winning goal with 0:02 remaining in the first overtime period. The entire game was back and forth with the score only more than one goal apart for 0:32 in the third quarter. The lead changed in the contest four different times. Full Story

Brighton took the lead in the second quarter and kept the lead for the rest of the game. The Barons defeated Rush-Henrietta 17-14 to remain undefeated. The early game was back and forth with the score tied at 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5 and 6-6 before the Barons scored five unanswered goals to secure the lead.  Full Story

Penfield took the lead with 5:48 remaining in the first quarter and never trailed again in their 11-9 win over Canandaigua. Although the Braves opened the scoring, Penfield scored the next four goals to lead 4-1 after the first quarter. Canandaigua moved within a single goal twice, but never re-tied the game. This is the first time that Penfield has defeated Canandaigua since 2012. Full Story

Greece Athena/Odyssey scored the first goal of the game, but could not hold on to the lead and Spencerport defeated the Thunder 8-7. Zack Gibaud scored the first goal nearly halfway through the opening quarter. Less than one minute later, Spencerport added back to back goals to take their first lead and although the game was tied after that the Rangers never trailed. Full Story

There were fifteen games played today and, as usual, many were mismatches. In the more exciting games, Aquinas needed overtime to defeat McQuaid Jesuit in GRALL action. Full Story

Under Amour recently announced their first (of four) "waves" of eleven players named All-American who will have the chance to play in the All America Games in July. Full Story

NOTES: Wildcat sophomore attackman Timmy Cornish had a big day, scoring eight of Whitman`s fourteen goals. With Avon`s win today, the teams are 1-1. Full Story

There was only one game in the Section today. Marcus Whitman traveled to Avon and although they had a six goal push in the final quarter fell to the Braves 14-12. Full Story

NOTES: Geneva held a three goal lead in the third quarter, but Pal-Mac came back and took a two goal lead. Sam Miller scored for Geneva at 1:09 and Jason Feinberg scored at 0:31 to send the game into overtime.  Full Story

In the three years that Pittsford has face Duxbury, the Panthers have won all three. Today, Pittsford won 6-5. The Panthers have scored six goals each year with Duxbury scoring 5 in 2014, 2 in 2015 and 5 this year. When the Dragons held Pittsford to six last season it was the smallest amount the Panthers were held to all year. Duxbury is a nine-time Mass State Champion. Full Story

Churchville-Chili remained undefeated with their 8-5 win over Webster Schroeder today. This is the first time that the Saints have defeated the Warriors since 2011. Overall the series stands at 4-3 for Schroeder. The Saints didn't take their first lead until the second quarter when they scored four unanswered goals to take a 6-3 lead. Full Story

One of the first beautiful spring days saw thirteen games played in the sunlight. Pal-Mac overcame a three goal deficit to defeat Geneva in overtime. Full Story

NOTES: Junior attackman Brett Randall scored 6g-4a and sophomore attackman Brady McDermott added 5g-2a in the win which lifts the Barons to 3-0. Full Story

In the only game on Friday, Brighton defeated host Greece Lightning as the attackmen combine for 11g-6a. Full Story

NOTES: Junior attackman Mike Marrocco scored the tying goal with 0:17 left in regulation and senior attackman Danny Williams scored the game winner in OT for Batavia. Full Story

There were twelve games played on Thursday, and once again, many were mismatches. Full Story

NOTES: Colin McElligott took 17 shots and ended the game with 8g-4a and Owen VanWie won 23 of 29 face offs for the Rangers. Full Story

In the only game on Wednesday, after a close half (9-8) the Rangers took off in the second half, scoring seven goals in the thirds and cruised to a 21-12 win at Arcadia. Full Story
