NOTES: In the closest game of the night, Aquinas defeated Canisius 12-11 in the second overtime period. Without a Canisius roster, a goal for goal recount would be difficult to read. Brighton`s Brady McDermott scored with 0:59 remaining in regulation to secure a 14-13 win over Webster Thomas. Aquinas used two overtime periods to secure their win from Canisius as all but one team in the section played games today. Full Story

NOTES: After losing to Penfield the last four times, Fairport defeated the Patriots 12-8 tonight. The Red Raiders scored five unanswered goals spanning the end of the second and start of the third quarters to take the 10-3 lead. Full Story

NOTES: Gates-Chili defeated Gates Arcadia/Olympia 12-9. The Spartans scored the first six unanswered goals before Greece Arc/Oly got on the scoreboard. The Lightning scored six of the next seven to bring the game to 8-6 late in the third quarter. Joseph O`Hare had another big game for the Spartans and finished with (4g-2a). Full Story

After a scoreless first quarter, Churchville-Chili scored three goals during a non-releasable penalty to start off scoring on their way to a 13-10 win over Spencerport. The game was all about scoring runs. The first quarter had no scoring with both goalies coming up with big saves. Matt Cobb (Churchville-Chili) had 4 in the first quarter and nine overall and Connor MacKenzie (Spencerport) had 5 in the first quarter and eleven overall. Full Story

On the biggest night thus far, there were eleven games played and the closest game was three goals as Gates Chili held off a last flurry of goals from the Greece Lightning, winning 12-9 and Churchville-Chili who defeated Spencerport 13-10. Full Story

Sophomore midfielder Garrett Ruff scored the final four goals for HF-L to give them a 9=8 victory and their first win over Irondequoit in program history. The Eagles led for nearly the entire game before Ruff brought them on top with 7:53 remaining in the game. Although both teams had chances in the final minutes, the Cougars were able to hold off any additional scoring for Irondequoit. Full Story

The first Players of the Week awards winners for 2016 are a three year Varsity player and a first year Varsity player who have contributed to the early successes of their teams. Jonathan Roth is a sophomore attackman from Honeoye Falls-Lima and Jacob Cupp is a senior goalie for Haverling. Full Story

NOTES: McQuaid Jesuit scored first but "jet lag" set in and Haverling took the lead at the start of the second quarter and never looked back, It was the first win for the Rams over the Knights since 2004. Full Story

Webster Schroeder scored the final two goals to secure an 8-6 win over Gates Chili. The Warriors took a quick, early lead, scoring five unanswered goals to start the game. Jonathan Kay scored two goals in the opening quarter to help take that lead. Jared Griffin, Blake Balcaen and Matthew Montgomery scored the reaming three goals of the opening quarter. Full Story
