Looking BackWhat a week of exciting lacrosse action! It all kicked off on Monday with three commanding victories: Aquinas dominated Haverling, McQuaid Jesuit outplayed St. Francis, and Livonia-Avon-Geneseo took down Gananda in a Finger League matchup. Tuesday brought a flurry of games, with 11 matchups showcasing five nail-biters. Notable close wins included Irondequoit’s 8-7 edge over Brighton, Schroeder’s 7-6 triumph against Wayne, and Hilton’s 8-6 victory over Penfield. Geneva narrowly defeated Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 8-7, while Gates Chili eked out a 5-4 win against Brockport. Wednesday featured seven games, with Bloomfield-Honeoye shining in their 12-6 win over Brockport. Brayden Arber (5 goals) and John Blair (3 goals) led their offense. Unfortunately, the Marcus Whitman vs. Gananda game was postponed. Thursday celebrated standout Players of the Week: Jase Smith (Gananda), Blake Jipson (Thomas), and Jack Rawleigh.
