Gates Chili broke a 4-4 halftime score to beat Eastridge 10-4 behind the efforts of sophomore attackman Grant Ferguson who scored 5g-2a for the Spartans. Clarence (Section VI) used a six goal second half to defeat visiting Rush-Henrietta 9-4. Full Story |

Ithaca (Section IV) used overtime to defeat Irondequoit 7-6 this afternoon. Other close games included Penfield 8-7 over Hilton, Pal-Mac 6-5 over Midlakes, Pittsford 8-6 over McQuaid Jesuit and Gates Chili 6-4 over Spencerport. The first battle for ranking in Class A was settled this afternoon when Fairport (6-1) knocked off Thomas (5-1) 12-7 at Webster. In the other game played today, Batavia beat Each Rochester 11-10 in overtime. Junior attackman Will Mulcahy scored the game winner for the Blue Devils. Full Story |

Class/Division Changes Make Things Interesting |

With a major change in the NYS Class alignments, Canandaigua and Irondequoit move to Class B, making that class much more challenging, while maintaining that exciting rivalry. Geneva and Aquinas, who have, in the past, elected to move up from Class C, now like the idea of taking on Penn Yan instead of CA and IQ. Full Story |
