NOTES: Third seeded Aquinas defeated tenth seeded Newark 15-5. The Reds, who were previously the lowest seed currently in the tournament, kept the game close the first half before the Little Irish scored eight unanswered goals in the third and fourth quarters.  Full Story

Thomas Over Irondequoit

NOTES:  In a game that was plagued by penalties, second seeded Webster Thomas defeated sixth seeded Irondequoit 14-12. The first half was relatively tame with two personal penalties and one technical. However, in the second half there were nine personals and seven technical. Although Irondequoit scored the opening goal, the Titans tied or led the game for 47:52 of the 48:00 contest.  Full Story

Penfield 8 - Fairport 7 in Overtime

Penfield stood on the shoulders of their two newest All-Americans, Max Spaan and Willie Klan, to secure an 8-7 overtime victory over 2014 Class A Champion Fairport. The Red Raiders fought hard throughout the contest, but in the end, the Patriots scored the final two goals to secure their win. Full Story

In the closest game of the tournament so far, fourth seeded Rush-Henrietta scored just 0:07 into overtime to defeat fifth seeded Hilton. After trailing 8-4 at halftime, the Royal Comets fought back hard in the second half, outscoring Hilton 8-3 in the final twenty-four minutes. Attackman Nick Lenhard was the big scorer for the Royal Comets with 4g-1a.  Full Story

The 2015 tournaments have been seeded and the schedules are set. Pittsford (Class A) with a record of 15-1 is the top of Class A. Penfield, Fairport and Rush-Henrietta took positions two, three and four. Fairport and Rush-Henrietta tied and Fairport won in the tie-breaker (with their win head-to-head on Thursday). All eight teams play in Tuesday quarterfinal contests at the home field of the higher seeded team.

They fought back to a one goal game with 5:59 remaining in regulation, but Fairport scored the final goal to increase their lead to two and sat on the ball to secure their victory. Full Story
