Colby Barker scored back to back goals to end the game and give Pittsford the comeback 10-9 win over Canandaigua. The Braves scored the opening three goals and led for nearly the entire game. After a close game last week, Brighton got their first win over the season with an 11-10 victory over Churchville-Chili. This was the first time that Brighton had defeated Churchville-Chili since their 15-14 victory in April of 2010. Full Story |
Hopsicker Wins in Overtime |

Jeremy Hopsicker scored back to back goals to end the game and give Brockport the 10-9 win over Greece Athena/Odyssey in the first overtime period. Hopsicker scored the game tying goal with 1:01 remaining in regulation before scoring the game winner 1:51 into overtime, both goals were unassisted. The 10th Annual Jeff Milano-Johnson Memorial Lacrosse Tournament is set for Sunday, June 4th at Rochester Regional Health`s Total Sports Experience. The Jeff Milano-Johnson Memorial Fund / Rochester Kids provides scholarships to kids graduating from the City of Rochester, support for city lacrosse including ROCE6 and a new city-suburban partnership called ROCKidsConnect. Victor Wins 50th Straight |

Over the past 50 contests, the Victor Blue Devils have never lost. Victor scored the game winning goal with only 0:50 remaining in the game to defeat Loyola Academy 5-4. Over the last 50 games the Blue Devils have won by an average of 9.7 goals per game; for only the second time the game was decided by a single goal. In their second consecutive match against Section Five teams, Brother Rice defeated Victor 10-9. The Warriors lost to Canandaigua last night 8-7 (HERE). Historically this was the 17th consecutive win for Churchville-Chili over Spencerport. The last win for the Rangers was eleven years ago. Today’s game was close throughout with the largest lead being a three goal lead late in the game for Churchville-Chili (16-13). During the contest both teams lead and neither could pull away. Victor trailed 2-0 after six minutes before scoring seven of the next eight in their 9-8 win over Fayetteville-Manlius. FM attempted a late comeback but could not tie the game again after 2-2 to end the first. The Blue Devils held off in the fourth quarter and did not allow a shot after the final FM goal (5:28 remaining in the fourth quarter).
