Although Newark took a 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and led at the half 6-4, Midlakes came back in the second half, outscoring Newark 6-1 for a 10-7 win for the Eagles. Senior midfielder Chris Goodman (4g-1a) scored the tying goal on a pass from senior attackman Jeshurun Eldridge with six minutes left in the game.
