Pittsford holds Off C-C for win |

Pittsford scored five unanswered goals spanning the first and second quarters to secure their 10-6 win over Churchville-Chili. The Saints scored the opening goal and kept the game close for the first quarter. Pittsford took over in the second quarter to take a 6-2 lead that the Saints couldn’t come back from. Churchville-Chili continued to fight and brought the game within two late in the game but could not get any closer. Full Story |
Spencerport scores Nine of Ten straight in Win |

Spencerport scored nine out of ten straight goals to defeat Greece Storm 10-6. The Rangers were led in scoring by Mark Schnauber with 2g-2a. Seven players made the offensive book with six of the seven scoring more than one point. Full Story |
Brockport Comes Back in Fourth |

Brockport outscored Eastridge 4-1 in the fourth quarter to comeback and win 9-8 over the Lancers. The Blue Devils led in the first half before Eastridge fought back to a two goals lead in the third quarter. The Lancers held Brockport scoreless for sixteen minutes and added four of their own in that time. Brockport scored four of the final five goals to secure their win. Full Story |
Fairport Wins in Overtime |

Fairport and Hilton played a back and forth game this afternoon. The Red Raiders led through most of the game; however, the Cadets took their first lead of the game with 7:13 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Red Raiders scored the final goal of regulation to send the game into overtime. Forty-five seconds into the first overtime period, Brennan Maloney scored off a feed from Spencer Bell to give the Red Raiders the win. Full Story |

Tuesday: DAY IN REVIEW: It rained most of the day, but the rain did not stop any of the twelve scheduled games today. Although a number of mismatches, there were a number of closer games including visiting Fairport winning an overtime game from Hilton 8-7. Midlakes Wins in Overtime |

Matt Mattoon scored his lone goal of the game in the first overtime period to give Midlakes a win in their season opener. The Screaming Eagles led 10-6 with just over six minutes remaining before Newark went on a four goal streak to force overtime. The Screaming Eagles led or were tied for the entire contest, but the Reds kept the game close throughout. The four goal lead with six minutes left was the largest margin in the game. Full Story |
Irondequoit Pulls Ahead in Final Quarter |

After seven ties, Irondequoit pulled away and defeated Pittsford 11-8 in their season opener. This was the first time that the Eagles have defeated the Panthers since 2012. The Panthers are 14-8 since 2003 and had won the last five times that the teams had met. Full Story |
Victor Holds Off JD for Win in Season Opener |

Victor scored the first three goals of the contest and led the entire game in their 13-10 win over Jamesville-Dewitt. Although the Red Rams kept the game close in the second half, they never tied the game. Victor scored seven of the first eight goals before JD began their comeback with six of the next seven. Since 2003, Victor and JD have played four times with each team now winning twice. Full Story |
Schroeder Defeats Canandaigua for First Time Since 2003 |

Schroeder scored the final four goals of the game to defeat Canandaigua 8-5. The Warriors led for the majority of the game after a strong start and finish. The Braves stayed in the game late into the third quarter; however, the Warriors held them scoreless in the final 17 minutes to secure the win. This is first time that Schroeder has defeated Canandaigua since 2003. Full Story |
Irondequoit Over Pittsford and Midlakes Wins in OT |

Thursday: DAY IN REVIEW: Of the eleven games pplayed today on the eve of spring break, most were played in wet conditions. The big exception was Victor who hosted Jamesville-DeWitt at the Pinnacle indoor facility in Victor. The Blue Devils took a commanding lead, at one point up 7-1, but the highly regarded and NYS Class C finalist came back and made for an exciting finish with Victor the winner 13-10. Full Story |
West Genesee Defeats Penfield |

West Genesee scored six of the first eight goals in their 13-10 win over Penfield. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Max Rosa with 6g. Although the Patriots kept the game close and forced a tie three times, West Genesee held control through most of the second half. In the fourth quarter, Penfield never got closer than two.
