Championship Games - 2007

While Penn Yan and Geneva won their games as many predicted, second seeded Irondequoit had a big win against the top seed, Schroeder as they posted a 14-8 win for their first Championship since 2001 when they defeated a combined Webster team 8-7. Full Story

The All Star list is out recognizing the Finger Lakes players for the 2007 season. Defenseman Michael Manley and Goalie RJ Wickham from Penn Yan were selected as USLAcrosse All Americans. Annual Senior Games Teams

It's the last game for some Section Five seniors as they play in one of the Seniors Games on Tuesday, June 12th at Irondequoit High School. The Class B/C teams will play at 6:00 pm and the Class A teams will play at 7:30 pm. Full Story

NYS Tournament - We're Done!

In two very exciting Class A games this afternoon it was West Genesee over Canandaigua 11-10 and Syosset who scored the last four goals of the game to win 7-6 over Yorktown. That means it will be West Genesee and Syosset in the Finals on Saturday. Full Story

Thursday Games - ESG 2007

The 2007 Empire State games opened with a number of strong performances as Central defeated Hudson Valley 11-6, Long Island defeated New York City 11-3 and Western defeated Adirondack 11-6. Full Story

All-Greater Rochester Team Announced

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle has announced thier first AGR Lacrosse team, with the first Player of the Year honors going to Webster Schroeder attackman Grant Catalino. First year Irondequoit Head Coach, Craig Whipple, who's team won their first Sectional title since 2001, was names the first AGR Coach of the Year. Full Story
