Canandaigua and Penfield remained undefeated in Section Five and are among only seven teams statewide to have perfect records. Penfield had a close call with a comeback win against host Fairport, 9-8, and Canandaigua had no trouble in their 19-7 victory over Newark. It was the second day in a row for Livonia and Odyssey and it was Livonia winning again, 14-6. It was close in the first half with each team scoring 2 goals in one quarter and 1 goal in the other and the game was tied at 3 at the half time break. A group of Irondequoit lacrosse fans have announced that they are working to raise funds in the name of George Boiardi, the Cornell lacrosse player who died earlier this season. Over $2,000 has been raised thus far and donations are encouraged. Full Story |

There were lots of man-up opportunities at Livonia as Victor beat the Bulldogs 11-8. Victor took a 4-0 lead in the first quarter and extended the score to 7-2 at the half-time break.
