There were thirty-nine games played last week with a few won in overtime. There were fifty-two out of section games scheduled and all of them have been played. Section V teams won thirty and lost twenty-one (59%). Victor (16-0) is still the only undefeated team left at this point.

Looking Back
The week started on Monday and all five games were mismatches today as Pal-Mac finished their regular season at 13-1.
Tuesday was busy with thirteen games played and topping the list was Spencerport who played three overtime periods for their win at Rush-Henrietta. Pittsford defeated CA 7-2 and Gananda had a 9-8 win over Mynderse.
On Wednesday McQuaid Jesuit beat Geneva and HF-L defeated Brockport.
Webster Thomas attackman Nathan Hoban and Honeoye Falls-Lima goalie Trevor Reese were named Players of the Week.
On Thursday there were seven games played as the regular season was almost done. Most games were mismatches, but Greece had an 8-6 win over Newark and Penfield had a win over Irondequoit.
On Friday Gates, Hilton and Geneva all won games.
The week finished on Saturday and so did the regular season. Fairport provided excitement with a close win against McQuaid Jesuit. Mynderse beat the Pride 7-6 in another close one.
On Sunday, the seeding for the four tournaments were released with Pittsford (Class A), Victor (B), Pal-Mac (C) and Livonia-Avon (D) taking the top seeds.
Looking Ahead
The Section V tournaments play out this week, starting with out bracket games on Monday and finishing the weeks with Semifinals on Friday and Saturday.
On Monday there are out bracket games for Classes B and D.
On Wednesday All four classes will play quarter final games at the higher seeded team fields.
There are semifinal games on Friday for Class C at Canandaigua and Class A at Webster Thomas.
On Saturday the Class B semifinals are at Fairport and the Class D semifinals are at HF-L.
