East United Wins remains Undefeated at 5-0

DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - There were 4 games played today and 2 were close ones. East United-Eastridge was a 6-4 winner over Midlakes-Red Jacket. Nichols was a 7-5 winner over Rush-Henrietta. 

Midlakes-RJ at East United-EastridgeMIDLAKES-RED JACKET-4 at EAST UNITED-EASTRIDGE-6 - It took a strong and physical game but East United maintained their undefeated status with their win over visiting Midlakes-Red Jacket. There was no report from East United-Eastridge (5-0) at post-time. Leading the scoring for the Screaming Eagles (2-2) were Freshman midfielder James Sprague (1g-2a), Sophomore offensiveman Stuart Quku (2g), Sophomore offensiveman Nate Lathrop (2a), and Sophomore offensiveman Brendan Baldwin (1g). In the goal for Midlakes-Red Jacket was senior Kaiden Larsen with 9s/6ga = 60% (48 mins). Midlakes-RJ at East United-EastridgeGENEVA-18 at GATES CHILI-3 - Eight different players scored goals for Geneva including Freshman midfielder Max Delgado who scored his first Varsity goal for the Panthers. Leading the scoring for Geneva (2-3) were Junior midfielder Max Heieck (4g-3a), Freshman attackman Jack Dunham (4g-2a), and Sophomore attackman Ryland Dunham (3g-1a). Facing off for Geneva was senior Jeremy Askin with 16+/3- = 84%. Askin reached his 400th career win in the game while Senior goaltender Paul Williams made 4s/3ga = 57% (48 mins). Junior face off midfielder Michael Alley (3g) scored all three goals for the Spartans who are at HFL on Thursday.   [ BOX SCORE

Midlakes-RJ at East United-EastridgeMCQUAID JESUIT-13 at ST. JOSEPH`S-6 in a Non-League game: The Knights hold on to their undefeated season (7-0) with the win in Section VI and tie up their series win/loss with each team winning five games. Scoring for McQuaid Jesuit were Junior midfielder AJ Quagrello (3g-2a), Senior attackman John Harding (5g), Senior attackman Vincenzo Giangreco (2g), Senior midfielder Eoin Meyer (2g), and Senior defenseman Daniel Geen (1g) who scored his first Varsity goal for the Knights. Junior goaltender Jack Rawleigh recorded 4s/3ga = 57% (40 mins).

RUSH-HENRIETTA-5 at NICHOLS-7 in a Non-League game: In their first outing against the Section VI school, Rush-Henrietta lost in what looks like a close game. There was no report from Rush-Henrieta at post-time. The Royal Comets will host Pittsford on Tuesday.    [ BOX SCORE
