Thursday: Canandaigua over Eastridge - Others Rained Out

Canandaigua finished their game with Eastridge 3:30 early but with an 18-3 win to move the Braves into the Class B semi final round on June 2nd. McQuaid Jesuit stopped their game with Victor with the Knights up 2-1. Their game will be picked up on Saturday with 9:00 left in the second quarter. Brighton, who had a late start planned for tonight, simply moved the game against HFL to Saturday night at 7:00 PM (at Brighton). The Newark at Irondequoit game has been moved to Saturday at 11:00 AM.

 

Canandaigua 18 - Eastridge 3 

 --  Canandaigua won the first quarter 4-2 and led at the half 10-2 before taking an 18-3 quarter final win against Eastridge tonight at Canandaigua. The game was ended "by declaration" due to storms with 3:30 left in regulation. Canandaigua will play their semi final game at 5:00 on Tuesday at St. John Fisher College.

Scoring for Canandaigua were Tanner Scharr (4g-1a), Brian Scheetz (4g-3a), Marshall Johnson (3g-1a), Tom LaCrosse (1a), Will Johnson (1a), Collin Peck (1g), Gannon Osborn (2g-1a), Parker Weeks (1a), Eric Schott (1a), Deven Alves (2g-3a), Jordan Reals (1g), Adam Knapton (1g) and John Klein (1a). Anthony DeLeo played the first half and had 6 saves, gave up 2 goals. Nick King played the next 15 minutes and had 3 saves and gave up 1 goal and Corey Griffin played the last 5 minutes and had no saves.

Scoring for Eastridge were Riley Austin (1g), Matt Doeller (1a), Adam Sisson (1g), Jeremy Wolocki (1g). Jake Czwilinski made 16/18ga in the goal for the Spartans who finish their 2009 season at 3-14.
