Thomas 15 - Brighton 9

In a game that was closer than the score shows, Webster Thomas defeated Brighton 15-9. The Titans scored five of the last six goals spanning the last quarter and a half. The Barons were only down by two goals (10-8) when Thomas started a five goal streak. Three goals came in the last three minutes of the third quarter and two more to start the fourth quarter.

Brighton opened the scoring with a man-up goal from Max Coke. Thomas scored the next two to take their first lead of the game with scoring from Kevin Hill and Coz Fiore. Coke added his second with 6:06 remaining in the opening quarter. Thomas scored the next three to take a 5-2 lead early in the second quarter.

Brighton and Thomas traded goals early in the second before Thomas added another two back-to-back to finish the half leading 8-4. The Titans added the first goal of the third quarter to lead by five with Matt Fiore assisting Travis Ford. Brighton scored the next three with a goal from Ethan Appleton and two from Will Bender. Brighton was within two goals (9-7) with 5:53 remaining in the third quarter. Both teams traded scoring before the Thomas started their scoring streak.

In the cage for Thomas, Davis Bird and Dean O'Neil split time. Bird recorded 3 saves in 30 minutes and O'Neil recorded 5 saves in 18 minutes. Midfielder Joe Vasile and attackman Mitch Hutteman each finished with four ground balls for the Titans. Brighton goalie, Isaac Berg recorded seven saves. Parker Lawrence led the Barons with eight ground balls and Coke added another seven to the count.
