Game Report: Tue - 04/07/2004

Pittsford's field was not ready, so the Panthers traveled to Irondequoit for their first outing under new Coach Carmine Peluso. The first half looked close as Pittsford took a 7-6 lead at the break, but the Eagles reorganized and held the Panthers scoreless from then on while scoring five of their own. Senior Jon Timkey scored 5g-1a and Corey Bottinglier added two more goals for Irondequoit (2-0). Junior attackman, Jake Boyce scored 4g for Pittsford (0-1).
  
Brighton and Hilton were able to play their game at St. John Fisher College and despite a number of exciting scoring events at both ends of the field, Brighton was the winner, 19-8. Junior attack-men, James Ryan and Michael Ryerson each scored 7g-3a in Brighton's season opener.
  
Senior middie, Tyler Endres scored 4g-1a, Mitch Ritchie added 1g-2a and Ryan Eastman scored 2g-1a for Hilton (0-1) Geneva scored 6 goals in the first and third quarters and won a rare shutout in their 14-0 win over Mynderse. Junior attackmen, Mike Toner (3g-4a) and Matt Warner (2g-3a) were helped by freshman attackman, Greg Bonney (3-1). Dan Rago and Chris Toner each added 2g and five other players made the scorebook for the Panthers (1-1). Goalies Nick Sharman (3s), Matt Hannan (3s) and Dan Bennett (1s) combined for the shutout. Anthony Carnevale recorded 19 saves for Mynderse (1-3).
  
Webster Thomas (1-1) was host to Greece Odyssey (0-3) and won, 13-2. The Thomas attack of seniors Steve Hutton and John Schumacher, who each scored 2g-2a, where joined by freshman, Dom Scalzo who also scored 2g-2a. Senior middie, Nick Dalton added 2g-1a for the Titans. Thomas senior goalies Boomer Concordia (4s)and AJ Davis (5s) combined for the win. Scoring for Odyssey were senior middies Rob Weilert and Eric Castro.
  
The Newark-Livonia game was not played and has not yet been rescheduled.
