Tuesday: CA Over Penfield and Geneva Over PY

DAY IN REVIEW: Canandaigua attackman Devin Andrews scored 7g-2a for the Braves (11-4) when they beat Penfield (6-7) at home tonight. Joe post was 21-26 at the draw and added 11 ground balls for CA. Geneva (8-4) held Penn Yan (6-7) scoreless in the second half in their 5-1 victory this afternoon. Geneva goalie Jacob Drennen recorded 24 saves for an amazing 96% while Sam Miller led the offense with 1g-3a.

Pittsford at Brighton Jon Marble scored 2g-2a to lead the Pride in their victory over Newark. He also led in ground balls with 10 and won 8 out of 12 face offs. Devin Campbell was credited with 21 saves (81%). The Webster teams tied three times before Thomas broke away at the end of the third and into the last quarter, scoring three unanswered goals.

Ryan Macdonell scored 6g-5a and Brandon Macdonell added 8g-2a when Midlakes (8-5) defeated Batavia (2-7). It was a tale of halves, with Eastridge taking the first half 11-2 and then the Thunder taking over in the second half scoring 13-2 for the win. Donovan Fagan scored 3g-2a and Anthony Kimber added 5g for the Lancers.

Senior offensive man TJ Hendricks scored his 100th career goal tonight for Fairport. Andrew Mapstone scored 4g-3a and Charlie Pluta added 5g-1a as HF-L boosted their record to 12-1. Goalie Ben Tomaszewski recorded 6s (86%) for the Cougars.

After three ties Irondequoit scored the last seven goals in the game for a win against Hilton. Kessel Stefano led the Eagles with 4g and goalie Patrick Hynes continued to perform in the cage with 13s (72%).

Also winning games were Spencerport, Haverling, Pittsford, Victor, Fairport and Wayne.
