Pats Beat Cadets

NOTES: The Patriots scored the first seven goals and held the Cadets scoreless until the second quarter in their 14-7 win. Penfield had eleven different players make their offensive scorebook. Attackman Max Spaan finished with 6g-1a, leading his team. Spaan had an impressive goal to start off the final quarter. He scored behind the back from an assist by Brian Wall just 0:47 into the quarter. He scored on six of his seven shots, only missing the cage once in the entire game. Goalie Liam Guiton and attackman James Stoler finished with five ground balls each to lead the Patriots. Guiton played 44 minutes and recorded 9 saves (64%). Nate Karatas (1 save) and Griffin Hogle finished out the final four minutes of play.

Hilton had six players score with midfielder Justin Goodrich (3g-1a) leading the charge. Goodrich finished with seven shots (four on cage). Midfielder Harald Juergens (1g-1a) led the team with eight shots (five on cage). He also finished with four ground balls to lead the Cadets and was 55% at the face off draw. In the cage, Jarod Kimble finished with two saves and played the majority of the game. Delvin Ergott finished the game but did not face any shots.
