Brighton Takes Livonia 9-6

Brighton controlled their game with Livonia and finished with a 9-6 win. The Bulldogs had a late push (with three of the last four goals) but the Barons led for the rest of the game after taking the lead in the second quarter. The two teams traded goals in the opening quarter with scoring from Divonte Geiger and Jonathan Mohnkern from Livonia and Max Coke from Brighton. Coke scored the first three goals for the Barons.

The score was 2-2 after the first quarter. Brighton scored the opening two goals of the second quarter and never trailed again. They scored seven out of eight goals spanning the first three quarters. Midfielder Parker Finestone finished with six ground balls for Brighton. Midfielders Will Bender (5), Parker Lawrence (3) and Allen Vitale (3) also added to the ground ball count. In the cage, Andy Wong finished with 2 recorded saves.

Livonia midfielder Jack Pope finished with six ground balls to lead his team. Attackman Nick Kallio (5) and midfielder Troy Rossborough (5) also added to the ground ball count for the Bulldogs. In the cage, John Stockslader finished at 50% with 9 saves.
