# 2896  Waterloo Scores Final Three Goals in Win

After four lead changes, Waterloo scored the final three goals to defeat Newark 10-8.  The Reds held the lead with 2:16 left in the third quarter before being held scoreless by the Indian’s defense for the final 14 minutes.  Dillion McCann scored two of the last three goals for the Indians to secure the win.  He finished with 5g-1a on the game.

# 2882  Canandaigua Come From Behind Win at Hilton

Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: Canandaigua came back in the last quarter in a 11-10 come from behind win against Hilton.  The Braves trailed for the entire contest prior to their final goal with 5:24 left on the clock.  The Cadets, who led by three early in the game, could not tie the game for the sixth time in the final minutes.  The scoring for Hilton was spread out with six players scoring a single goal and the leading scorer (Ryan Butts) finished with 2g-2a.  For the Braves, Mark Belles led with 4g-1a.  Face-off midfielder Shawn Doran finished 18/25 for Hilton, with a team leading 11 ground balls.

# 2855  Newark, C-C and McQ Win on Wednesday

Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: There were four games played today and most were mismatches. Newark held BAND scorerless for three quarters as seven players made the offensive book which was led by Jayden Shepherd with 3g-2a and Matt Card (4g). Talyn Pierce had 13s for the Reds. McQuaid Jesuit scored seven unanswered goals in the seconds quarer on their way to a 16-3 win at Catherdral Prep. Nine players made the book led by Ryan McEvily with (4g). The Knights (6-2) will play Livonia-Avon on Thursday. Churchville-Chili were led by Pat Mitchell (6g-3a) and Eli Chalmers (5g-4a) in their win over Gates Chili. Aquinas and Nichols played a close game right down to the end, but came up short in the 6-8 loss when the Vikings scored scored four unanswered goals in the third quarter.

# 2806  Newark Holds off Late Gates Chili Push

Newark scored the first three goals in their 5-4 win over Gates Chili and never gave the Spartans a chance to tie up the game.  The Reds were led in scoring by Matt Card (4g).  Kyle Martinez scored the game opener (unassisted) before Card finished out the scoring with four straight goals for Newark.  The Spartans were led by Kyle Krystan with 2g-1a.  The opening goal for Gates Chili was scored when Zane Tuller assisted Blake Palozzi with 10:45 remaining in the second quarter.  Krystan then responded with two back to back goals in the third and an assist in the fourth to Anthony Nguyen.  Although the Spartans scored the last two goals, they never tied up the game and Reds ran out the clock.
