Waterloo - Many Returners

Waterloo 2022

Class D - Finger Lakes League

Last year was tough for Waterloo with only one senior on the offensive book. The young team from last year is now a year older and more experienced and is looking for more wins.

WaterlooBack in attack is Scott Verdeham, a three-year starter who led the team in goals and points last year with 15g-2a. In the midfield are seniors Peter Shangraw a three-year starter with (9g-5a) and Jordan Kraft, a two-year starter who had 4g-4a last year. Jordan has already scored eight points in the first three games of this season. Shangraw has 11g-1a this season. Also returning to the midfield is two-year starter Ashton Law, a junior D/DM.

In defense Waterloo will see junior Michael Soler and sophomore Christian Pehrson. Both are two-year starters. In the goal, the Indians will look to junior Raymond Jones and freshman Bergren Aunkst-Park,

Coach Morrin says "The young team from last year has gained much experience and looks to improve overall this season. Through hard work and teamwork, we hope to compete at a high level this season in the Finger Lakes."

Waterloo has played three games already this year and at 2-1 with wins against Midlakes-Red Jacket and Batavia-Notre Dame. They play a Finger Lakes schedule but have a couple on non-league games with Brockport and Batavia-Notre Dame.
