EDITOR'S NOTE: This weekly summary touches on some of the games played in the recent past and highlights some games of interest in the current week. For more in-depth coverage, click on the DAY OF THE WEEK for more coverage for that day, including box scores, articles, and galleries.

There were four games played since the start of games on March 24th with the HF-L win at Haverling being the closest at 10-9. At the moment there are fifty-two out of section games scheduled and one has been played. Section Five won it.

Looking Back

Aquinas-Livonia-AvonOpening day was Thursday, April 24th and two games were played with HF-L winning a nail-bitter against Haverling.  It was a great game that was close throughout, never differing by more than two, as the Cougars won the 10-9 victory.

One Saturday, there were two more games. McQuaid took their team on the road to get their first win for new Coach Justin Ross. They beat Orchard Park (Section VI) 10-3 as freshman faceoff specialist JP Gianforti won 16 or 17 draws. Sophomore goalie made 9s (75%) for the Knights.

Looking Ahead

There are twenty-seven games scheduled for this week, and games are being played evrey day Monday-Saturday.

Pal-Mac and C-CBatavia-Notre Dame will play on Monday at Wilson (Section V).

On Tuesday Haverling will play at Aquinas in a GRALL contest. East United-Eastridge, with new Head Coach London Booker will be at Greece.

On Wednesday Webster Schroeder is at St. Francis

On Thursday there are six games including a big GRALL showdown for Livonia-Avon at Haverling. Geneva takes to the road to Skaneatles and Gananda is at Gates Chili.

On Friday Livonia-Avon at Pal-Mac should be a good game and Clarence (Section VI) is at Thomas.

Fishing the week, on Saturday there are fifteen games including Schroeder at HF-L and Geneva at Canandaigua. Seven games are with out-of-section opponents.
