Brockport - Looking To Get Better

-

Brockport 2022

Class B - Monroe County League

Head Coach Josh Laskowski has been working hard since he arrived in 2019 to build a program at Brockport. It has been difficult to find games of equal match and their MC-3 alignment still has tough teams including Irondequoit and HF-L. Still, if the goal is to win more games each year, he should have a chance this year.

BrockportA tough loss, however, is graduate attackmen Cole Beardsley and Chris Parker who combined 62% of last year's offense. There are only six seniors on the 2022 roster and eleven underclassmen.

Coach Laskowski will be looking for the Miller boys to get things going this year. Senior Evan Miller (1g-0a-58gbs) returns in defense after earning an Honorable Mention from the league. Junior midfielder Steven Miller posted 15g-7a last year and newcomer, Ryan Miller is an eighth grader playing attack.

Joining Evan in the defense will be junior Xavier Bauer (21gbs) and Sophomore Ethan DeWilde, both with experience from last year. They will be defending freshman goalie Danny Kucmerowski who had very limited time in the goal last year as an eighth grader.

Coach Laskowski is excited about the season. "Our varsity team this spring will offer a mix of experienced and young talent. We as coaches are looking forward to the challenges that await and intend to make some noise in class C."

Brockport will open their season on April 2nd when they travel to Medina.
