The contest was tied 2-2, 4-4 and 8-8 before Aquinas scored five unanswered goals spanning the final 10:24 of the contest, including three goals in man-up play. The game had a total of 15 penalties (13 minutes). Defenseman Caleb Cooley led HFL with five ground balls and midfielder Terrance Richards led Aquinas with 14 ground balls.
