Victor senior midfielder Jamie Trimboli has been tagged as a first team All-USA pick by USA Today. "Players are selected based on on-field accomplishments and strength of opposition during the high school season." Jamie, who was named a US Lacrosse All-American in his junior year will start his last season with the Blue Devils with 87g-36a and a career record of 126-55a.  Full Story

Friday: Opening Win for Pittsford in Ohio

Pittsford traveled to Ohio for their season opening and after a visit to Ohio State University, played a night game against Worthington Kilbourne. After a 3-1 first quarter and 5-4 half, the Panthers finished with a 12-8 win against the Wolves. Kilbourne has a strong tradition of winning, making it to the Ohio State "Final Four" twelve times as they begin their twenty-fifth year. In 2009 they won a State Championship and in the last five years have a record of 77-26. Full Story

NOTES: Sophomore Jon Roth scored the game winning goal two minutes into the first overtime period to secure HF-L`s 11-10 victor over Webster Schroeder. The Cougars lost the overtime face off, but strong defensive play allowed them to hold off any shots from the Warriors and take control of the ball. Full Story

Ithaca Defeats Red Raiders

 NOTES and COMMENTS: Ithaca started off the game with a bang. The Little Red scored the first three goals with impressive plays. The opening goal was scored with a feed from behind the cage by Nick Miller to Ryan Sposito. Sposito finished with 3g-2a to lead Ithaca. One minute later Collin Case fed the crease to Matt Pagliaro for a second goal.  Full Story

Irondequoit fought back from a three goal deficit to defeat Aquinas 8-7 in a night game at home. The Eagles scored three goals in the final quarter to tie the game and take the lead with 5:43 remaining. Kessel Stefano scored three goals for Irondequoit, including the goal to take the lead.
