Thunder Wins One Goal Game From Brockport

May 5, 2016 -  SPORTSFIVE REPORT:  Greece Athena/Odyssey held off a late advance from Brockport to defeat the Blue Devils 10-9. The Thunder led by four with 5:09 remaining in the game before Brockport scored three goals in under two minutes. They could not tie the game in the final 2:53 to force overtime.

The score was tied 3-3 after the first quarter. The Blue Devils kept up their pressure and scored two more goals to start the second. Their largest lead was 5-3 at the half. Ath/Ody came out of halftime and scored three unanswered goals to take back their lead 6-5. The Blue Devils tied the game again with an unassisted goal from Jake Sweet. Greece scored four more goals to take control of the game and sit on their four goal lead late in the fourth quarter. In the cage for Brockport, Trevor Stein finished with 12 saves (55%).
