Spears' Five Goals Lead Haverling
May 14, 2026 - BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME-4 at HAVERLING-18 - Haverling beat Batavia-Notre Dame 18-4 Thursday evening in a tournament game, moving to 5-7. Senior Drew Spears had a strong night offensively, and sophomore Logan Force recorded his first career varsity assist. Batavia-Notre Dame's Keaton Corcoran scored his first career varsity goal. Mason Calkins went 19 for 25 on faceoffs.
Spears led Haverling with five goals and two assists, while Noah Schneider added four goals and Mason Rooks contributed three. Zach Colegrove chipped in three goals and three assists, Warren McCormick added two goals and two assists, and Force scored one goal and added two assists. In goal, senior McLane Stermole made seven saves on 11 shots (64%) over 48 minutes.
For Batavia-Notre Dame, Nolan Radley scored two goals, and Keaton Corcoran and Aiden Kopper each added one. Trey Rodriguez and Kopper each contributed an assist. In goal, senior Branden Flanagan made 14 saves on 27 shots (52%) over 24 minutes. Batavia-Notre Dame falls to 4-10.
Haverling travels to East United-Eastridge on Monday. Batavia-Notre Dame hosts East United-Eastridge on Wednesday.
