Terrigino's 9g Carry East United Past Gates Chili

May 14, 2026 - EAST UNITED-EASTRIDGE-12 at GATES CHILI-4  - East United-Eastridge beat Gates Chili 12-4 Wednesday evening in a non-league game, moving to 5-8. Junior Payton Terrigino had a career day, accounting for nine of the team's twelve goals. Gates Chili falls to 2-11.

Terrigino led East United with nine goals and an assist, while John Hart added one goal and three assists. Ethan Flannery and Taye Brown each scored one goal, and Chancellor Williams distributed two assists. In goal, sophomore Xzavier Madrigal made five saves on nine shots (56%) over 48 minutes.

For Gates Chili, Joshua Yakowitz and Zach Fennell each scored two goals, with Fennell adding an assist and Noah Truax chipping in one. In goal, senior Callaway Phommachanh made four saves on six shots (67%) over 10 minutes and Demar Williams made 10 saves on 20 shots (50%) over 38 minutes.

East United hosts Haverling on Monday. Gates Chili hosts Schroeder on Friday evening.
