Tortora, Brown Fuel Spencerport Win

April 25, 2026 - RUSH-HENRIETTA-2 at SPENCERPORT-16 - Spencerport beat Rush-Henrietta 16-2 Saturday morning in a non-league game, moving to 5-4. The win was also a milestone for head coach Buttaro, who set the school record for career coaching wins. No stats were available for Rush-Henrietta at post-time.

Senior Zach Tortora led the Rangers with six goals and an assist, while sophomore Gavin Brown added five goals. Eighth grader Landon Mack scored two goals and two assists, and sophomore Mason Endres added one goal and three assists. Eighth grader Carter Cirella scored one goal and an assist. Mack and Cirella each recorded their first career varsity assist. Nathan Marciano added a goal. Freshman Luke Kaye went 14 for 22 on faceoffs. In goal, sophomore James Newtown made five saves on six shots (83%) over 36 minutes.

Spencerport hosts Thomas on Wednesday evening. Rush-Henrietta travels to Penfield on Wednesday evening as well.
