Valenti's Four Goals Keep Pittsford Perfect at 9-0

April 18, 2026 - PITTSFORD-14 at MARCELLUS-8 - Pittsford stayed unbeaten with a 14-8 non-league win at Marcellus on Saturday afternoon, building an early lead and extending the program's perfect start to the season. Freshman Keegan Jacob scored his first varsity goal in the win.

For Pittsford (9-0), senior Avery Valenti led with four goals, while junior Grant Lewis added three goals and one assist and junior Max Morgenstern contributed three goals. Junior Cole Goetz chipped in one goal and three assists, and junior Jahyden Maiorani and junior Trevor Nally each added one goal and one assist. Jacob scored his first varsity goal while also going 17-for-21 at the faceoff dot (81%), and senior Peter Roussell added four wins in four attempts (100%). Freshman Bear Wehrheim stopped 13 shots for a 62% save percentage in 48 minutes.
