Kurdziolek Get Five Goals for Mynderse-Romulus

April 17, 2026 - MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-9 at WATERLOO-4 - Mynderse-Romulus picked up a 9-4 tournament win at Waterloo on Friday evening, scoring four goals in the second quarter to build a lead it would not relinquish. The win improves Mynderse-Romulus to 2-2 on the season.

For Mynderse-Romulus (2-2), junior Hunter Kurdziolek led with five goals and one assist, while senior Trace Parish added two goals and three assists. Sophomore Owen Levis contributed one goal and one assist, and freshman Tyne VanEvery added one goal.

For Waterloo (0-4), sophomore Kayden Zona and senior Kyle Shangraw each scored two goals. Senior Dylan Acquilano stopped 16 shots for a 64% save percentage in goal, keeping the game competitive in the second half as Waterloo outscored Mynderse-Romulus 4-5 over the final two quarters.
