Joyce Breaks Career Assist Record in Penfield Win
April 17, 2026 - ORCHARD PARK-7 at PENFIELD-11 - Penfield picked up an 11-7 non-league win over Orchard Park on Friday evening at home, rallying from a 4-4 tie after two quarters with six straight goals in the third to take control. Senior Brodie Joyce broke the Penfield program's all-time career assist record during the game, surpassing the mark held by Tucker Nelson from the class of 2010.
For Penfield (5-3), Joyce led with four goals and two assists, while junior Harrison Easton added three goals and junior Jake Maurer contributed two goals and one assist. Sophomore Ewan McCormick and junior Cole Bellerose each added one goal. Senior Colin Miller went 16-for-18 at the faceoff dot (89%). Senior Mason Schembri stopped nine shots for a 56% save percentage in 48 minutes.
