Bailey's 300th Win, Copeland's Record Lead Churchville-Chili

April 11, 2026 - CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-12 at GATES CHILI-2 - Churchville-Chili picked up a 12-2 Monroe County D-3 win at Gates Chili on Saturday afternoon. The game featured two individual milestones: senior Isaac Bailey surpassed 300 career faceoff wins, finishing nine-for-11 (82%) to reach 302, and senior Larry Copeland set a school record with 10 caused turnovers in a single game.

For Churchville-Chili (2-4), senior Jack Sloan led with four goals and one assist, while senior Jaxon Leonard added two goals and four assists and Bailey contributed three goals and one assist. Senior Grayson Galliford and freshman Austin Gefell each picked up their first varsity points, with Galliford scoring his first varsity goal and Gefell recording his first varsity assist. Junior Kaiden Leiston was perfect in goal, stopping three shots for a 100% save percentage in 24 minutes.

For Gates Chili (0-4), junior Joshua Yakowitz scored both goals. Junior Demar Williams stopped 20 shots for a 63% save percentage in 48 minutes, and sophomore Colin Mancuso went seven-for-10 at the faceoff dot (70%).
