McQuaid Advances to Class A Finals

May 30, 2025 - McQuaid Jesuit secured a victory in the Section V semifinal against Rush-Henrietta tonight, winning 19-5 at Spencerport. McQuaid Jesuit started fast with nine goals in the first quarter and maintained control throughout. Ten different players contributed goals, showcasing depth in their lineup. Leading the scoring were Talin Parks with four goals and three assists, and John Burrows with four goals and two assists. AJ Quagrello added two goals and five assists, while JP Gianforti marked his fiftieth career goal with two scores. Junior midfielder Hudson Proia netted his first varsity goal in the matchup.

McQuaid Jesuit goalie Jack Rawleigh delivered a solid performance with nine saves, posting a 64% save rate while playing the entire game. With this win, McQuaid Jesuit improved their season record to 11-6, while Rush-Henrietta ended at 7-11.
